Review by hotel critic
Casa Septem in Villa Seca is nestled beautifully amid the picturesque landscapes of Tunuyán, making it an accessible retreat from Mendoza's bustling scene. Our stay was characterized by clean, modern rooms that exuded comfort, complete with premium bedding and thoughtful touches like laptop-compatible safes. Despite the charming surroundings and gourmet offerings at Dux Casa de Fuegos, my experience was marred by several inconveniences that overshadowed the positive aspects. While the outdoor swimming pool and spa facilities promise relaxation, we found them to be underwhelming for what we expected. Although the idea of indulging in a body scrub and sports massage was enticing, the overall service did not quite meet the standards we have come to appreciate during our travels through Argentina's wine country. With superior options available nearby, I ultimately felt that Casa Septem did not offer a level of hospitality commensurate with its price point.
